In July, the Sustainable Energy Association hosted “Energising the Installer”, an event which looked at how we can tackle the barriers to uptake of key Government Policies, such as the Renewable Heat Incentive and Green Deal and ECO. The event focused on perspectives from the installer and what could be done to ensure the UK’s installer base was best positioned to make these initiatives flourish. The event was chaired by Installer Magazine and many key players in the industry offered useful insights.
We will be hosting our next free to attend event: “Energising the Consumer” as a follow on to the interesting discussions that took place at “Energising the Installer”. The November event will look closely at the barriers and concerns that different consumers have towards adopting new efficient technologies and how they may engage more successfully with government policies aimed to lower fuel bills and reduce carbon emissions.
