Green Transformation

Comments from Chief Executive, Lesley Rudd on Labour's policy announcements

Lesley Rudd Chief Executive of the Sustainable Energy Association commented:

“The Sustainable Energy Association welcomed the Labour Party’s recognition of the need to decarbonise our economy. We have long advocated reducing demand for energy by improving energy efficiency and taking action to decarbonise our buildings,  as well as our energy system. We welcome the focus on green jobs and providing sustainable energy for the future; upgrading our existing buildings and building better new homes  would contribute greatly to these objectives.”

The Sustainable Energy Association is working with parliamentarians across parties in support of bringing all homes up to Energy Performance Certificate band C. See more information on our Campaign Page
